Anti-smoking crusaders are taking it a step further. Now a man is being sued for smoking on his own patio. Undoubtedly, the plaintiff will get a lot of sympathy because he claims to have asthma. Still, closing your window would seem a bit easier than filing a lawsuit.
The lawyer for the defense says that this opens the door for all sorts of silly lawsuits, and that vegetarians suing non-vegetarians is next.

I'm always amazed how the Post-warriors preen themselves on outgrowing the bigotry of their forefathers. Anyone who smokes knows better.
A perusal of the archives at http://www.forces.org/index.htm convinces me that cigarette smoke is neither allergenic nor causes asthma. The whimperors who claim so should be ashamed of themselves. They are either ignorant or liars, and contribute to the second greatest tyranny of our time. The drug war rules the authoritarian roost.
