"We're supposed to evolve from frontier justice. You have to be a citizen of the world. ... These are difficult waters to negotiate, and you have to be a pretty evolved person to be able to do it. I think that [the Old West mythology] is a good thing to have in your spine. But it shouldn't operate your brain. It's nice to know that you're willing to fight. But it's good to know how smart you are about not fighting." -- B-movie actor Kevin Costner, known for such Hollywood hits as Sizzle Beach, USA, and Waterworld.
Who the hell cares what this man of a thousand boring baseball movies thinks? I guess Costner's roles in Wyatt Earp and JFK (each a mind numbing four or five hours long) all of a sudden qualify him to be an expert on Old West Mythology and international diplomacy.
