I've been looking through the referral logs. Whaddayaknow, I've been listed as a John F. Kerry Hate Site. I'm not sure I'd say I hate the 'Felafel'. Just because he doesn't support a war that he voted for, and he wants to raise taxes that he recently voted to lower. That is no reason to hate the Senator, who I hear has even faithfully served in Vietnam.
In other bizarre referral news, I'm also listed as an Accident Caught on Tape.
You make some good points regarding Kerry, that is, it seems to me that he may not be honest in now jumping on the bandwagon of anti Iraqi war. His claims, although possibly even true, that he voted to give the president the authority to go to war in order to force Saddem into UN complience, do have a hollow ring. It seems to me that he would have been better served had he merely said, "Hey, I was wrong, but truly I didn't expect George W to do that unilateral attack. "
But from my perspective George W. and his now passe Reagan hawks need to be removed from office. Although I'm not a democrat or a Republican, it now seems I have no choice but to support the democratic candidate. That said, I can only hope that General Clark declares and runs on the democratic ticket. If he doesn't, then I hope it's Dean, because it seems to me that Dean shows a bit more honesty and at least he was against that costly drain on our treasury, meaning the lives of our grunts, as well as the future debts to foriegn governments.
Yet if Kerry gets the democratic nomination it seems I must vote for him. Hell, Ravenwood, I'd vote for you ( or even Bill Maher ) if you were the Democratic candidate. At least U.S. citizens would get some attempts to be honest and maybe we'd even learn to occasionally laugh at ourselves.
