Is it just me, or does Chris Rix seem to be asking for trouble? After being caught illegally parking in a handicapped space last week, this week he parked in spaces reserved for patients.
As someone who's kept an eye on FSU football over the years, I cannot help but think there is a serious discipline problem at the university. All schools have their problem players, but the Criminole's seem to have them EVERY YEAR. I don't think Bobby Bowden's policy of letting players play as long as they aren't sitting in jail does much to help the situation.

We love it when you call us Criminoles because we still your dreams. You are a really big retard. The universities punishements are just fine. Thank You- At least they aren't killing anyone- But in points on the scoreboard.

It's typical of FSU and their fans to gloss over their athlete's illegal usage of handicapped parking, which by the way is a criminal offense, by saying at least they put "points on the scoreboard." (Well, that and reducing themselves to juvenile name calling...)
Posted by: Ravenwood at October 9, 2003 10:34 PMWell I can understand that what Chris did wasn't the greatest thing to do, but should you penalize him for that, and say that "he's in trouble again"? It seems like your labeling him, and everyone makes mistakes. I dont think you should make it a big deal and post it all over the internet, when it was just a small incident that honestly doesn't seem like it deserves little, if any attention. But hey everyone makes mistakes NO BIG DEAL.

Tell that to someone who's handicapped. "Sorry I took your space buddy. It's no big deal. No need to get your crippled ass upset."
You also make it sound accidental, when in fact it is a case of an able bodied athlete deliberately flaunting the law. Sure, on the surface of it, it's a minor offense that would probably be a $250 fine (depending on where you live.) Deeper down though, it reeks of arrogance and contempt for the law.
