Anheuser-Busch, who was recently lauded for supporting concealed carry legislation in Missouri, is a little hypocritical on guns. As the VCDL reports (via email), the Anheuser-Busch theme parks, Busch Gardens, don't permit concealed carry holders to bring their firearms. While they have every right to ban guns on their property, Anheuser-Busch seems a bit two-faced for supporting concealed carry legislation in Missouri (where they are based) but not in Florida and Virginia, where their theme parks are located.
Of course, the CEO doesn't live in Virginia or Florida, he lives in Missouri. Even if enough public pressure is put on Busch, they are likely to claim "insurance reasons" or some other frivolity for not allowing guns into their theme parks.

Ravenwood,
I live in St. Louis and AB has been more than a little two faced. Back in 1999 when Prop B was before the voters AB actually donated money (thought they claim it was by mistake) to defeating Prop B (btw this really only lost by 3.3 % and if you see a county by county map of the votes it only lost in the inner city of St. Louis...)
AB has been wishy washy on issues for as long as I can remember. Apparently the problem lies in the fact the the Bush family is pro-gun and many of the AB exec's are Anti-gun and liberal. He can't exactly fire them for thier views, but the internal strief and AB is apparent if you talk to any of the office workers!

Idiots.
