". . . the foray has opened new credibility questions", claims the Washington Post. Just what are they upset about? Apparently the turkey Bush is holding in this photograph was a decorative prop or centerpiece prepared by the chef, and not an actual turkey meant to be consumed by the troops.
When it comes to finding something to criticize Bush about, as Neal says, how desparate can you get?

Like a baby polar bear pretending to be a bear rug, stretched out on the ice with his mouth open. Mama bear saying ``Stop that!'' as a cartoon was described by Jean Shepherd on the radio long ago. That would be an example of bad taste, if you're a polar bear. Similarly Bush's moment would be bad taste if you're a turkey.
