The Washington D.C. area residents felt a temblor yesterday reports the Washington Post. I'm glad they told me, because had it not been plastered all over the news yesterday evening, I never would have known. My friend Anna apparently felt something, but most people I spoke with were oblivious to the minor earthquake.
I was in an earthquake in 1986.
In Ohio. Who woulda thought ?
It was 4.3 or so on the Richter scale. It took place in the wee hours of the morning. I was one of the 1% or so of Ohoians who actually noticed, since I was on the top floor of a five story building, and could feel the building shaking.
