I agree that rushing for 2000 yards in a season is quite an accomplishment, however, very little is ever said about the fact that when O.J. Simpson initially broke the 2000 yard barrier back in 1973, it was during a 14 game season.
... or that half of the 9 seasons Jim Brown played were 12-game seasons.

Yeah, I know, it doesn't help those that didn't watch or pay attention to the game, but at least it was mentioned by someone.
