You would think that for $800 Million NA$A could have put a color camera on board the Mars rover. Minutes after landing, the Mars Spirit lander started sending back photographs. As with most NASA photos, they were in black and white. (Those color photos you are used to, are usually photoshopped by NASA.)

They said there will be color photos later in the day.
Real color, I presume, not Photoshop color.
Posted by: michele at January 4, 2004 11:18 AMBlack and white....it's the new color.
Actually, I don't care if the photos are B&W or color...the fact that we're getting pictures from space is always cool to me.

Should be a law that someone who creates a web site like this should pass a basic intelligence and spelling test. There's more life on Mars than this site.
Posted by: Ishmael at January 6, 2004 11:40 PMSee Ishmael, that is why we have the Second Amendment. So that when people like you try to get the government to take away my First Amendment rights, I have some sort of recourse.
Don't tread on me.

That attack is pretty funny. I could see attacking IMAO for bad spelling, but this site is pretty good. I would say that the only sign of being less than highly intelligent is the obvious Washington Foreskin slant. I mean, isn't 10 years of excessive crapitude enough? Living in the DC area has been fun for a Giant's fan. When the only one who could stop Stephen Davis was the head coach of Washington. Davis for 8, Davis for 5, Davis for 9, Davis for 7, pass, pass, pass, punt.
Now the New York Football Giants, there's a team. They even excelled at stinking this year while Washington was merely mediocrely lame.
