"I've proposed a strategy that that revitalizes our manufacturing sector and puts us on track to create 10 million new jobs in the next four years." -- John Kerry, trying to spin the recent good economic news.
"Ten million new jobs? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are only 8.4 million unemployed people in America." -- James Taranto, Best of the Web.

10,000,000 new jobs is a third LESS then the jobs that would be created in the next four years at the rate they were created in March, 2004 (308,000 X 48 months). So, is Kerry planning to stifle economic growth to achieve his goals? Just wondering.

So I guess Kerry is going to create jobs...for the children. That's right, John Kerry is going to bring back child labor.
