Has anyone else noticed that all other news seems to be taking a back seat to the convention. Check out the number two story over at CNN:
I guess 68 dead Iraqis aren't as important as Lady Ketchup.
For those of you who are counting, this is the third straight day that just about the entire front page of the CNN website has been devoted to the Democrat National Convention. Will the RNC get this kind of coverage? We'll have to wait and see.
UPDATE: CNN has finally bumped convention coverage for some real news.
The funniest CNN moment this year was when Paula Zahn had a on-camera orgasm while Ralph Nader was talking. If that was fake, she is in the wrong profession.
Maybe she is in the right profession, just a different branch office. 8)

Posted by: Mays at July 28, 2004 11:14 AM"Fair and balanced" Fox News is giving just as much coverage to the convention as CNN; look at their site.
Posted by: Ken at July 29, 2004 5:04 AMI don't read Fox News any more since they redesigned their site.
Posted by: Ravenwood at July 29, 2004 6:23 AMSo what's your point then? Fox has devoted just as much time to covering the convention as CNN has. OOOOOOOH maybe Fox is part of the massive left-wing American news media! Your lame excuse is supposed to make up for your ridiculous "logical" leap?
Posted by: Ken at July 29, 2004 10:15 AMWhat logical leap did I make? I think you're putting words into my mouth.
Posted by: Ravenwood at July 29, 2004 10:20 AMLook for the networks to re-examine their coverage of the Donks convention and conclude that they were too un-critical and gave Kerry and company way too much free publicity.
But that will be OK, because they will make up for those shortcomings during the upcoming Republican convention where they will be much more critical.
(How many remember, in 1996 Bob Dole standing up on the debate stage, detailing his goals for America. Then Bill Clinton standing up, and essentially saying "me too", and America went wild.)
