Now I want to emphasise that I am in no way saying that Michael Moore is a communist. But the communists sure seem to be huge fans of him and his work.
U.S. director Michael Moore's anti-Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" was shown on prime time Cuban state-run television on Thursday after playing to packed cinemas for a week. [...]His supporters can call him a patriot if they want, but I tend to judge a man by the company he keeps.Cubans have stood in long lines to buy tickets to see rough DVD copies projected at 120 cinema theaters across the island to unfailing applause.
"We hope this film will lead Americans to see the reality of their government, and not only deny Bush reelection but put him on trial for the harm he has done to humanity," said retired worker Armando Rodriguez.
I once read the newspaper he published in Flint back in the 70's. I would say he's a communist. (Not reporting to the Soviets,. but that just means he didn't get the memo back in the Gorbachev era, you know, the one that said something like, "we've noticed that Communism doesn't work and are changing to gangster-ridden capitalism."
