This, from the Washington Post, discussing ways Kerry could win the election:
The fastest route is to win the biggest states: Florida (27 electoral votes), Pennsylvania (21) and Ohio (20). Bush won two of them in 2000 -- Florida only after a 36-day recount and a Supreme Court decision that effectively gave him the state and the presidency -- and both sides believe that whoever claims two of those three this year will win the election.According to the Washington Post's own independent recount, Bush was elected fair and square.

I sincerely believe that Al Gore's belief that he should have been handed the presidency is the reason he is now mentally ill. He became so obsessed, what with the Democrats and MSM making tongue-in-cheek remarks for 4 years about "unelected Bush" and "(s)elected President" etc., that he went over the edge. I have no fondness for Gore, but it is still a sad spectacle to witness. I hold his family responsible for not keeping him from his repeated public displays of psychosis.
