John F. Kerry has flip-flopped again. More than 4 weeks after the election, Senator Kerry is supporting a recount in Ohio reports the Washington Post.
Sen. John F. Kerry's presidential campaign asked an Ohio judge yesterday to allow it to join a legal fight there over whether election officials in one county may sit out the state's impending recount.Although by refusing to recount Deleware County would be violating the law, Yost is right that recounting would be a pointless waste of taxpayer resources. With Kerry conceding the election, and the third party candidates not even getting a full 1% of the vote, what is the point?A pair of third-party presidential candidates, who said that reports of problems at the polls on Election Day are not being addressed, are forcing the Buckeye State to recount its entire presidential vote. But David A. Yost, a lawyer for Delaware County, just outside Columbus, won a temporary restraining order last week blocking any recount there. He told the Columbus Dispatch that a second count would be a poor use of county resources.
The recount request by Cobb and Badnarik is just a rediculous ploy for attention. And if Kerry honestly feels a recount is necessary, why did he concede the election? Oh well, at least Kerry voted against recount before voting for it.
As shown by his senate record of the last 20 years, Mr. Kerry probably just doesn't have anything better to do than to chime-in with Cobb and Badnarik. That is, until there is some pro-gun or anti-gun legislation that he can fly in to D.C. to vote against/for.
There just seems to be nothing that Mr. Kerry isn't "for-gainst".
