If ABC wants to boost their ratings, they should do something to keep the OU band from playing the same annoying fight song between each and every single play.
Oklahoma plays some good ball, but I don't know how their band members keep from blowing their own brains out for being forced to play the same riff over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
I've been watching the Orange Bowl for five minutes now and I've already heard that infernal song 10 times. In another five minutes I'm muting the TV and putting in Disney's "It's a small world after all" soundtrack.
I swear that I was just thinking that fingernails across a chalkboard would be less irritating.
My halftime thoughts included the possibility of listening to some music and just watching the game with the audio muted.

That thought occurred to me about 6 minutes into the 3rd quarter along with the realization that there really was no apparent "championship-level" game being played. "Battle of two Heisman Trophy winners" or not, it wasn't much of a competetion unless you factor in which band got more airtime.
