Spring started more than a month ago, but parts of the midwest are still getting buried by snow. The Twins/Tigers game in Detroit was snowed out on Saturday, and snow continued to fall in Ohio and Michigan on Sunday.
Combine this with record snow depths in Alaska, and perhaps all of this is all part of that Global Cooling they've been warning us about.
"If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder by the year 2000...This is about twice what it would take to put us in an ice age." -- Kenneth E.F. Watt on air pollution and global cooling, Earth Day (1970)
