Spring and fall are the great tool migration seasons, and many can be found having been struck on the side of the road, if you're a bicycle commuter. My largest find is a 6' spirit level, the most useful a sledge hammer, most recent vise-grip pliars (2 weeks ago).

Tip: do not mingle found socket wrench sockets with your own sets. Many of them will be $2 cheapies that break apart.

Dude! You didn't do your civic duty and collect the bucket?

An unattended 5 gallon bucket exposed to the open air is apt to collect rainwater.

Once it is full, it is likely to hunt down a toddler to drown.

I mean come on! People wouldn't let a loaded gun lie alongside the road, and those are a lot safer than unnattended buckets of water!

;)
