A few years ago, Winn Dixie went on a building spree, and designed a new stores called Marketplaces. The reason was to carry a few items outside the normal rhelm of a grocery store, and take on Wal Mart and Target.

Needless to say, they got their asses handed to them, and you are seeing the result now. Most of the exec's who bungled this decision are still there, only with 22,000 fewer peon's to boss around now.

I had a good bit of their stock, but sold it when they started trying to take on Wal Mart. Glad I did now.
