Shouldn't they be buying books?
A mosaic mural on the Livermore public library is full of spelling mistakes. Artist Maria Alquilar of Miami is back in town to set things right. She's restoring the first "n" in Einstein and the second "a" in Shakespeare, among other fixes. The city should spell her name wrong on the check.Alquilar is being paid $6,000 for the editing job, on top of the $40,000 she got to create the mural last year. City officials say they'll be sure to check the spelling this time around.
