"According to the sanctuary's Web site, its animals include lions, leopards, tigers and bears."
I commend the author of the article for being able to avoid saying "Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!" I don't think that I could do it.
Posted by: Nick Bourbaki at August 19, 2005 9:15 AMDid I miss something or was there no mention of weather in that article? How can lions, cheetahs, etc., expect to live on the plains in the winter? The last I checked, Africa was in the tropics.

As much as the idea of seeing elephants in my state seems cool, I really don't want to step into a pile of ele-dung.
The guys making this suggestion apparently don't agree with the argument of some enviromentalists that the introduction of non-indigenous species (daisies in North America, for example) vitiates an eco-system.

The headquarters of BATFE.
CBS news headquarters.
The New York Times building.
The Capitol building.
Hollywood.
