Gun safety rules are there for a reason. They should be taught early and often, and should be ingrained in the mind of all shooters, so that bad things like this never happen. Experience can't make up for complacency.
A trip to the restroom resulted in a trip to the hospital for a Bloomington man who accidentally shot himself in the hand over the weekend at a gun show.Remember, treat every gun as if it were loaded, always point it in a safe direction, and keep your finger off the damned trigger.Faribault Police Sgt. Richard Larson said the 59-year-old man shot himself while removing his gun from a hook in a bathroom stall while attending the 31st annual Faribault Rifle and Pistol Club gun show on Sunday morning.
Will he now sue the gun makers becuase he got careless?
