It's not easy being green

Have you been wondering where all the froggies have gone? If so, scientists have finally solved the mystery. The world's frog population has been all but wiped out by (you guessed it) global warming.

The study, published in the journal Nature, provides compelling evidence that climate change has already helped wipe out a slew of species and could spur more extinctions and the spread of diseases worldwide. It also helps solve the international mystery of why amphibians around the globe have been vanishing from their usual habitats over the past quarter-century -- as many as 112 species have disappeared since 1980.
And I never had a chance to try my recipe for frogs legs.

OMG, Bush has killed Kermit...!

I actually have noticed a distinct lack of frogs these days, at least compared to when I was a kid in the late 70's and 80's. I'm surprised they took so long in blaming global warming.

Has anyone else noticed a decline in the population of crickets, too? Seriously, they used to be everywhere 20 years ago, and now I only see a few here or there. Must be more global warming...

Here we go gain from the usial bunch of crack-pots blaming this nonexiestant global warming maybe kermit and digum are just hiding out from the biofreaks trying to find them

Can't ANYONE realize that animal populations are cyclical, and that species as a whole come and go all the time? Or, heaven forfend, that climate is DYNAMIC??

Sorry, but I am so sick of this @#$%.

I noticed that all the frogs are gone too. In this part of the country (Tennessee) we call it winter. Wait 'till summer when the sounds of tree frogs is deafening. Every. Single. Night.

Crickets? I hear them for a little while in the evening before the frogs get going.
