First it was the $250 Million "Bridge to Nowhere". Now the Russians want to build a 68-mile $65 Billion (with a B) Tunnel to Nowhere. The tunnel would stretch beneath the Bering Sea to link Russia with Alaska. Proponents claim it would be a huge international trade route and want $120 Million just to study it.
Lobbyists claimed the project is guaranteed to turn a profit after 30 years.Guaranteed by whom? If it's guaranteed, then let the lobbyists pay for it.
This is just another pipe-dream. We have always been at odds with Russia and probably always will. I say Bull-Shit to it all.
